'...We will stray a little while, and see the land' - Ó Ríordáin
Born in Chicago, and raised in the wilds of the Southwest.

My creativity was born out of an instinct to survive and a passion to instill wonder through pictures. I grew up surrounded by artists, craftsmen, and merchants. When I wasn't climbing mesas and mountains, sleeping under the stars, or walking through creeks barefoot, I was watching artists at work in the gallery at the end of the road, or assisting with furniture making in the wood workshop. Collectively this helped define and inspire the work I do.

A passion for promoting growth in the local and independent community fuels my pursuits in illustration and design; To inspire thought, and provoke new ideas; To raise questions, and change perceptions; To connect us all through our stories with a shared sense of wonder and curiosity.

As Director of Outreach and Communications at Emergence Magazine—an online publication with a weekly podcast sharing the timeless connections between ecology, culture, and spirituality—I seek out new ways to share stories that have the potential to shift ways of thinking and being in our relationship to the living world. Emergence Magazine and I have a mutual passion for storytelling through innovative approaches across multiple media.
